The CTA is Chicago’s official failboat.
To go from IIT to here (Wrigley Field) and vice-versa should only be a half hour, forty-five minutes.
Tonight it took an hour and fifteen minutes.
And why the CTA thinks that running six-car redline trains on the weekends instead of the usual eight-cars is quite alright is beyond me. I do not enjoy playing sardines with a million other people in one train car. Most times, these people do not smell pleasant for the reasons of body odor or too much perfume/cologne.
In any case, I was at IIT to see their theatre group put on Arsenic and Old Lace. It was pretty good.
